Don’t Forget to Capture The World Around you.
About Me
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Art has always played an important role throughout my life, whether that was through painting, filming, or capturing photos with my camera, which all brought out more of my creative side. At times, I have felt lost, in not knowing which direction to take or what path to pursue. Feeling lost can be quite scary and overwhelming, but it is so important to find out what your passionate about, and pursue it. We all have different paths, and each of everyone’s journey is creatively unique.
Photography became a hobby of mine when I was only twelve years old. As the years went by, I became fully aware that photography is what I wanted to do as a profession besides Film of course. Not only am I very passionate about photography, but i also have a love for film-making. At the age of sixteen, I realized that I wanted to study Directing after watching the movie ‘Unbroken,’ Directed by Angelina Jolie, who she inspires me to pursue film. In the past, I felt like I needed to choose between photography and film, but did not know to how combine both things until I found Cinematography. Cinematography allows me to capture a beautiful scenery through motion pictures. In my free time, I love to create short films as well as watching many films and documentaries. In addition, at the age of sixteen, I directed my first film as part of a class project. Even though my film did not win, it did not stop me from pursuing film because everything is a learning experience for self-growth.
I love to surround myself with nature, which explains my love for landscape photography. Nature is very breath-taking, it is important to me that I surround myself with nature every once and awhile to help me stay grounded. There is an amazing incredible world out there, waiting to be explored. Don’t forget to capture the world around you. I truly hope my art inspires you to look at the world in a different manner and encourages you to do what you love.
“Life is an art, make it your masterpiece.”
